Sony today introduced the new XAV-602BT smartphone connected in-dash AV receiver making it easier and more convenient to experience music, navigation and smartphone applications while in the car. In addition, Sony announced the optional XA-NV300T navigation module with access to TomTom’s intuitive user interface and mapping technologies. The new Sony XAV-602BT AV receiver features Sony-exclusive App Remote technology for Android and iOS devices, unifying entertainment and control functions for a simplified driving experience. Viewers enjoy DVD video playback as well as a clear view of playlists and album artwork on the super-sized 6.1” touchscreen display. The new XA-NV300T navigation module delivers GPS and a USB connection and includes an SD card, which houses the TomTom map. The XAV-602BT receiver also offers front and rear USB connectivity for Walkman, iPod, iPhone, Android, Blackberry and other compatible USB devices.
