Matrox today announced the immediate availability of the new, unique Matrox VDA-1164 Video Decoding Accelerator. Matrox VDA-1164 supports simultaneous decoding of up to 16 D1 video streams from a wide variety of devices, while displaying the multiple individual streams in native resolution—at full frame rate—on up to four high-definition (Quad HD) displays.
Consisting of an IP video decoder board and a full HD, quad-output board, VDA-1164 is designed for use in single-seat surveillance systems or in control room operator stations monitoring large-scale IP-based security networks. Matrox VDA-1164 ships with an easy-to-use SDK for video management system (VMS) software integration.
