NTT DoCoMo will launch the i Bodymo mobile health-support service in Japan from May 21. This unique service will turn mobile phone into a handy tool for monitoring daily physical activity and food intake. Based on the data entered by user, the service will provides health advice and tips. It will record daily pedometer counts, jogging/walking course distances/times, etc.The Accelerometer function will allow user to test body reflex, balance, etc. The user will be able to monitor- Presents calorie intake/burn in graphs and will be advises about diet and nutrition based on dietary data entered by user. All this healthy service will cost 157 yen ($1.70) per month.
