A worker has found more than 10 million yen ($108 550) in cash at a garbage disposal facility in Hiroshima. A monitor spotted the money on a conveyor belt. According to police, the money was all in 10,000-yen bills ($111). Although the facility is used mainly by garbage trucks, individuals are also allowed to use it for disposal.
The facility handles large waste including furniture brought by disposal firms and individuals.
