Raptor AR Smartglasses from Everysight uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 410E Embedded Platform

Everysight, the makers of the soon-to-be released Raptor AR Smartglasses (Raptor), selected the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410E embedded platform to power its flagship product. The Snapdragon 410E embedded platform is included on the Raptor using a custom board developed by eInfochips. The Snapdragon 410E embedded platform provides Raptor with the compute capabilities necessary to display real time data such as route navigation, time, distance, speed, heart rate, cadence and power through on-lens projection displays. The device features a multimedia display with rich-full graphics and overall low power consumption, allowing for up to 8 hours of usage per charge.

The Snapdragon 410E embedded platform also enables Raptor to integrate various wireless technologies such as Wi-F and ANT+Bluetooth, allowing the smartglass to interface with the cloud as well as multiple wireless sensors using different types of protocols.
Raptors are the first- announced consumer focused augmented reality smartglasses aimed at fitness and are designed to provide cyclists, triathletes, and early adopters with a competitive advantage that enhances training by providing them with the real-time information they need to transform into faster, fitter, and more efficient riders.
